Let the puddles be a part of the path!

Let the puddles be a part of the path!

Hey there, beautiful!

Today I took Isla to an Easter egg hunt.

The snow is finally melting here—slowly but surely—and there are puddles everywhere!

Big ones.

Messy ones.

The kind that soak through your boots and splash up the backs of your jeans no matter how carefully you try to step around them.

But the kids didn’t care.

They ran full-speed across the parking lot, baskets in hand, laughing and squealing at the sight of little eggs tucked in corners and behind mats.

No one minded the mud. No one tried to stay clean.

And as I stood there—watching Isla hunt down every last purple egg she could find—I couldn’t help but think about how often we try to avoid the mess.

How often we believe we can’t move forward in business or life until everything is clear, dry, smooth, and mapped out.

But sometimes, you just have to run through the puddles.

Lately, I’ve been hearing from so many of you who feel stuck.
Tired.

Like everything you’re doing isn’t working fast enough.

Your offers are half-finished.

Your website isn’t ready.

Your brand feels scattered.

And underneath it all is this question that hums quietly...

Is this even going to work?

I want to tell you something.

It’s okay to be in the puddles.

It’s okay to be in the middle of the mess.

To feel overwhelmed.

To not have it all figured out yet.

What matters isn’t whether it looks perfect.

What matters is that you keep moving.

Maybe you're launching something new.

Or starting over.

Or simply trying to stay afloat with too many tabs open in your brain and not enough time to finish any of them.

Maybe you’re tired of showing up when no one seems to be watching.

Tired of pouring your heart into something that still feels small.

But I want you to remember this...

Growth doesn't always look like growth.

Sometimes it looks like mud.

Like puddles.

Like slow mornings and quiet weeks and things not landing the way you hoped.

But beneath the surface, things are still shifting.

Your voice is getting clearer.

Your ideas are taking shape.

Your roots are going deep—even when you can't see the results yet.

And honestly? That’s the best place to build from.

Because when no one’s paying close attention, you get to experiment.

You get to be brave.

You get to figure out who you really are and what you want to say—without the pressure of doing it “right.”

And when the moment comes (and it will), you’ll be ready.

Not because you waited until everything was perfect…

But because you were willing to show up anyway.

So if you’re in the middle of a muddy season, I want to leave you with this...

Let the puddles be part of the path.

Let the mess teach you something.

Let your next step be small, imperfect, and honest.

This weekend, I hope you find a bit of joy in the ordinary.

The sound of little feet running.

The sun slowly returning.

The permission to be fully in your life—even if the rest still feels unfinished.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to be building something beautiful.

You're already doing it.

I’m proud of you.

And I’m in it with you!
